Entry-level consultants are deployed to projects to fill a specific need and to provide solutions. While it is impossible to have all of the solutions for everything, it does mean that I approach situations with a mind-set to give 100%. Training occurs both 'on the job' as well as through formal programs.

What is the salary and what are the perks?

Compensation for consultants consists of four pieces: base salary, signing bonus, overtime pay, and per-diem. Recruitment from an undergraduate program, graduate program, hiring from industry, 'cost of living' factors, and hiring for "hot-skills" affects the offer. For illustrative purposes: Analyst $45-$70k, Consultant $70-$90k, Senior Consultant $70-$130k, Manager $95-$165k, Senior Manager $132-$190k, Director $250-$280k.
